Benni in the eighteen area!

For the first time, Usuthu will compete in CAF tournament after finishing second in the log.

SEDIBENG.- Benni McCarthy seems to be following in the footsteps of coach Pitso Mosimane.

This former Bafana-Bafana prolific striker was named the DStv Premiership League Coach of The Season over the weekend. This was after McCarthy made history when Amazulu (Usuthu) finished as runner ups to Mamelodi Sundowns in the league. He is the first ever coach to take the club to great success in his first season with the club. He was voted by his follower coaches ahead of joint Sundowns coaches. At one stage, McCarthy was close to winning the league with Sundowns dropping points.

He is one of the former Bafana-Bafana players who is making a name for himself in coaching.

For the first time, Usuthu will compete in CAF tournament after finishing second in the log.

Many believe McCarthy is following in the footsteps of coach Pitso Mosimane who started his coaching career with SuperSport United and has risen to stardom.
