SEDIBENG.-  At 15:01 yesterday, Thursday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the R549 between Deneysville and Heidelberg.

Reports indicate that a truck and car were involved in a collision. One person from the car had sustained serious injuries and was treated by paramedics on scene. Once stabilised the patient was flown by Netcare 911 helicopter to hospital for further care.

Two people from the truck sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
