SAFA Sedibeng SAB League season comes to an end
"It was a great season of football only marred by controversial refereeing."

SEDIBENG. – SAFA Sedibeng SAB League came to an end over the weekend with Real Hearts FC being crowned the winners in Stream B. At one stage, VUT FC were red hot favourites to be crowned the champions in Stream B until the final of game of the season against FC RESA over the weekend. “The Students” were held to a 1-1 draw while Real Hearts FC again received three points on a silver platter after Mmabatho FC failed to honour the game that was scheduled to take place at Ratanda Stadium over the weekend. On the other hand, it is still not clear which team is a winner in Stream A between Perfect Academy and Real Barcelona FC with some outstanding disciplinary cases against Perfect Academy. Sedibeng Ster Sports was reliably informed that Real Barcelona has lodged a protest against Perfect Academy and if they win the case, they will be crowned the winners in this stream. Perfect Academy was at the top of Stream A log standings for the better part of the season with Boipatong FC and Real Barcelona FC challenging them at the top. It was a great season of football only marred by controversial refereeing. As things stand, Real Hearts FC and Real Barcelona FC will engage each other in the Stream Play Offs to produce SAFA Sedibeng SAB League overall winner that will represent Sedibeng at Safa Regional Promotion Play Offs for promotion to ABC Motsepe League. Looking at the bottom of the Stream B log, Mmabatho FC and Metro Stars FC have been relegated to the lower division after they finished last and second last from the bottom of the log. In Stream A, Army Gym Shooting Stars and Palm Springs United reported to be the two teams relegated to lower division. However, Sedibeng Ster Sport will still have confirmed the final log from SAFA Sedibeng about both streams.
