VANDERBIJLPARK.- A man was hospitalised after injuring himself whilst working on a roof at a business on Rabie Street in Vanderbijlpark.

A man was hospitalised after injuring himself whilst working on a roof at a business on Rabie Street in Vanderbijlpark.
On Thursday ER24 and Emfuleni Fire Services arrived at 12h30 and found a man lying on the rooftop of a business.
In a statement on Friday ER24 said it is understood that the man had been working on the rooftop when he injured himself.
“Medics set up a rope-rescue system and man their way to the man. On assessment, medics found that the man had sustained a serious fracture to his leg. The man was treated and provided with pain-relief medication.”
After treatment, the man was lowered using the rope-rescue system to the awaiting ambulance and later transported to a nearby hospital.”
The details surrounding this incident are unknown.
