Only the nurses and patients coming to the the maternity unit and transported by ambulance were allowed in.

BOIPATONG. The outpatients were left stranded as the security guards barricaded the Boipatong Commununity Health Clinic in Boipatong on Thursday morning.

The security guards were demanding their monthly salaries, they said that it was already the 24th of the month yet they were still awaiting their salaries which they were supposed to have gotten on the 15th. It was a hard blow for the patients as they arrived only to be welcomed  by locked gates. Only the nurses and patients coming to the the maternity unit and transported by ambulance were allowed in.

Approached for comment the owner of the security, a Mr Modise, told Sedibeng Ster that the workers will be paid on 25 March.
