VEREENIGING.- Royal Beast Clothing, Forever Yung Clothing, Lamotech Auto Engeneering Solly’s Skills Driving Academy, Simhle Events and Techmecca will host the Mr and Miss Sharpeville Beauty Pageant at the Vaal Show Grounds in Vereeniging on Saturday, 30 April.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster the events’ Organiser, Mpho Tau said the event comprise of the main event which is the Mr and Miss Sharpeville Beauty Pageant, aged 18 upwards and Miss Teen Sharpeville which is made up of teens aged 14-17. There will also be winners in different categories such as Miss Curvy. The event starts at 11:00 and goes on till late. Prizes include goodie bags and cash prize and other incentives.
“Anybody who is interested is welcome to enter. We don’t really have requirements, anyone who is interested is welcome, whether it’s a first-time model or a person whose been modelling for some time. What we want to do is to identify talent and give opportunities to kids that are from townships to also showcase their talents and interest, we also trying to keep them away from substance and drugs abuse.”
