The transformer has been positioned on the concrete pad. Technicians have completed assembling 10 radiators, mounting of the conservator tank and high voltage bushings will follow.
The transformer assembly will be completed today.
Technicians will commence with filling the transformer with oil under vacuum on Wednesday, follow up tests will follow immediately after assembly.
Work on protection cables and transformer panel relay wiring is currently underway.
The municipality is pleading for patience from consumers in Miami Sands and CE 7 while technicians continue to work on efforts to restore power supply. No ETR can be shared at this stage.
