Grobler was allegedly last seen on 2 May 2022 at about 12:00, leaving the Busy Bee Hospice in Vanderbijlpark (Atherstone Street) on foot to visit family, but he never arrived and never returned.

In a Facebook post Grobler’s nephew Leon Beyleveld said his family is beyond worried and have looked for him everywhere; driving around, asking at hospitals and police stations, sharing his photos, and trying to make the community aware – but they have not had any successful leads.
According to Beyleveld at the time of Grobler’s disappearance, he was wearing a sweater with white and grey stripes, grey sweatpants and white takkies. He has grey hair, buzz cut.
“He is unshaven and has some tattoos on both his arms and chest. He hasn’t been diagnosed, but we suspect early stages of dementia as he comes across as “confused” sometimes.”
A Missing Person’s case has been opened at the SAPS in Vanderbijlpark, SAPS in Parys have also been alerted as Grobler might have travelled there by foot.
Anyone with information on his disappearance or whereabouts is asked to contact Sgt. Radloff on 016 910 9000 / 083 500 8228 or the The Pink Ladies.
