5km and 10km Fun Walk against substance abuse

“This is part of the organization in fighting against drug abuse in our community."

SHARPEVILLE.- Bornservant will host a 5km and 10km Fun Walk Against Substance Abuse scheduled to take place in Putswastena, Sharpeville on Saturday.

The day program starts at 06:00 to 6:50 for registration.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Mohumagagi Seisa who works as a volunteer at Bornserant said the fun walk is part of an awareness campaign against substance abuse. She told Sedibeng Ster Sport that due to the challenge of substance abuse they decided to organize a fun walk awareness campaign that will take place through the streets of Sharpeville.

“We invite the community to come in numbers to support this initiative which will be the first of its kind to take place in Sharpeville. We urge the members of the community to join the fight against drug abuse,” she said.
