Residents urged against purchasing NTHA property stands
This advice comes in light of the developer's failure to comply with all necessary planning processes, as the area in question remains a non-proclaimed township.

MIDVAAL. – Mokete Motsamai, the MMC for Development and Planning at Midvaal Local Municipality (MLM), has once again cautioned residents against purchasing plots or houses in a proposed development by Ntha Property Developers.
This advice comes in light of the developer’s failure to comply with all necessary planning processes, as the area in question remains a non-proclaimed township.
The municipality found several illegal advertising boards on Portion 106 of Farm Elandsfontein 334-IQ, put up by Ntha Property Developers.
“The boards indicate a Proposed Elandsfontein Township on Portions 106, 107, 108, 109, and 116 Elandsfontein, within the Midvaal jurisdiction. A Township Establishment application was submitted to the Municipality on 8 February 2023, by a consultant appointed by Ntha Property Developers,” Motsamai revealed.
Motsamai clarified that the application is currently in the circulation phase, awaiting comments from various internal and external government departments, highlighting that it has not received approval from the Municipality. In response to the unauthorised advertising boards, the Municipality is seeking legal advice from a solicitor.
He added: “It should also be noted that various complaints and inquiries are still being received from members of the public regarding Portion 116 of the Farm Elandsfontein 334-IQ development by Ntha Property Developers.”
Motsamai reiterated that despite the developer providing inaccurate information to the public, the development remains illegal.
