King of squats flex his fit body in the Vaal

Known for his squat routine scored with maskandi music, Nkululeko Dlamini visited the Vaal recently.

BOIPATONG – For the longest of time since his first rise to fame, King of Squat’s fans have seen him on their TikTok and other social media platforms.

However, for the first time, the physically fit social media sensation graced the Vaal over the weekend, Saturday, March 02, at 988 carwash and shisanyama in Boipatong.

Nkululeko Dlamini, a KwaZulu Natal, Ladysmith-born gym instructor drove not only women but also men crazy, as he flexed with his incredibly toned thighs and glorious glutes.

Besides leaving many drooling, ‘Nku’ provided core training by working alongside his team of fit star from Telelife21 during Vaal family aerobics.

From shoulder, tights, abs, and squats, these are some of the exercises the crowd carried out for a full body workout.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Dlamini said “The support was overwhelming and it was amazing how we were welcomed. This proved that people patiently anticipated us and we loved it.”

Dlamini emphasized the importance of healthy living.

“It is important that people should be fit, physically, and mentally. It is equally important to be admired from a distance because of your fitness, but that doesn’t end there. Your inner being should also be fit; hence we endorse mental wellness. If your mental health is up to par, your thinking capacity becomes different from the rest,” he said.

988 Manager, Mpho Elephant said their establishment aims to create a social space not only for partygoers but family setups.

“We brought together all gym fanatics from all walks of life through aerobics. This is our second session carried out since our existence in 2019. We decided to invite Nkululeko to share his experience in the field of aerobics,” he said.

“We strive not only to be a fun-partying place but also advocate for a family-orientated joint. The event’s success is a dream come through, after a lot of work invested in. We achieved the goal of this day and we looking forward to organising more health-related events in the near future,” he added.

Attendee, Thandi Mngcina said “Besides coming out here today to see the King of the squats, one came to promote a healthy life as per usual. On a daily, I visit the gym for intense routines to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Coming out once to witness men like Nkululeko is refreshing.”

Several health outlets such as Clicks, Herbal Life, and Planet Gym, among many others were in attendance to promote a healthy and gym lifestyle.
