New Horizon Hospice to launch under new management

The community is invited to attend the upcoming AGM and relaunch of Wide Horizon Hospice.

VEREENIGING – Wide Horizon Hospice invites the community at large to its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 11, which will be followed by an official launch event on June 18 to reintroduce the facility under its new management team.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Simphiwe Malunga says that the upcoming annual meeting will allow community members to review the hospice’s annual report and vote for a new Board of Directors.
Malunga urges those interested in the hospice’s work to attend.

The facility has been acquired by Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Services, an Alberton-based registered NPO with a proud and accredited history of delivering palliative care to patients and families facing life-limiting illness.

“The two occasions represent a new and exciting chapter for Wide Horizon Hospice and the communities it serves. The transition to new management ensures that patients and families in the region will continue to receive dignified, compassionate care, backed by an organisation with a deeply rooted legacy of excellence in palliative care,” Malunga states.

The AGM takes place on June 11 at 16:00, while the launch happens on June 18 at 14:00 at 13 Cassino Road, Duncanville, Vereeniging. For more information, visit https://steppingstonehospice.co.za.
