MEYERTON. – According to CERT-SA, the emergency call was received around 01:44 after the vehicle rolled at Weilbach Road in the Meyerton area.

Both occupants were apparently thrown from the vehicle during the accident.

“Both patients suffered moderate to serious injuries and were treated at the scene while waiting for ambulances.

“Both patients were taken to hospital by ER24 for treatment and are in a stable condition,” says CERT-SA in a statement.

Midvaal Fire Brigade, the Midvaal Traffic Department, Meyerton Police, ER24 and A-Assist Towing Service assisted at the scene.
