Seventh Annual Trolley Collection

This year the donations were handed over to the Catherine Robson Children’s Home and Future Scholar Pre-School.

VEREENIGING. – For seven consecutive years, First Steps Kindergarten/ Elementary has demonstrated unwavering dedication to making a positive impact in the community with their seventh annual trolley collection for underprivileged children.
Carol van Zyl, owner of First Steps, spearheaded this initiative.

This year the donations were handed over to the Catherine Robson Children’s Home and Future Scholar Pre-School.
The handover ceremonies were conducted with Ms. Elrina De Bruyn, Social Worker at Catherine Robson Home, and Daniel Mary Adesola, owner of Future Scholar Pre-School.
Reflecting on the initiative, Carol emphasised the significance of community support in driving positive change. “This initiative is a testament to our belief in the power of collective action. We are grateful for the generosity of our community members who continue to make a difference in the lives of those in need.”
The donations included essential items such as clothing and school supplies, to toys and books. These contributions will help brighten the lives of the children.
