BOIPATONG. – Hard work always pays off!

The hard work of Boipatong Detectives was proven when they received the prestigious “Best Detective Team” award for Gauteng. The detectives were recognised as a five-star team and ranked number two in the province. The award was presented by Gauteng Provincial Commissioner Major General Khumalo from Crime Detection for Good Performance during the 2023/2024 financial year.

In the Sedibeng District, the Sedibeng District Major General Nkhensani Lemba held excellent awards where men and women in blue were honoured. The event celebrated the team’s excellence in law enforcement, investigation, and dedication to community safety. Under the leadership of Branch Commander Captain Mokgoto, Boipatong’s detectives have consistently demonstrated exceptional commitment and skill in solving cases and serving justice.

The achievement underscores their hard work, discipline, and the trust they have built within the Sedibeng District and beyond.

Lemba praised the team, saying: “Boipatong detectives set a standard for excellence in policing, embodying the values of integrity, dedication, and professionalism. This award reflects their tireless efforts to make our communities safer and stronger.”

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela said the Boipatong Police are deeply honoured by this recognition and remain committed to upholding the highest standard of service for the people of Boipatong.
