School hosts Christmas party for learners
“I want to thank everyone who made this day possible especially the pastors and churches."
SEBOKENG.- Setlabotjha Primary School recently spoiled its learners with a Christmas party.
This is thanks to the school principal, Thandi Mafube who generously spoiled her learners especially those from disadvantaged communities. This was the first initiative of its kind to take place in Sedibeng, especially at school level. This Christmas party was for all the learners from Grade R to Grade Seven. Learners wore white and red Christmas attire. It was a fun-filled day for teachers and learners as they were involved in many activities.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Mafube was overwhelmed by how much learners were grateful for this occasion. Mafube thanked all the people who contributed to the success of this event, the staff, parents, and the people who donated.
“I want to thank everyone who made this day possible especially the pastors and churches. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank those pastors and churches for the role they played in making this Christmas party possible. It is important to mention them so people can know their contribution to the community. Thank you to Koinonia Bible Church, House of Glory, Christ Embassy South Group, and the House of Keeper. These churches prayed for our school throughout the year,” she concluded.
