SDM launches Zikhala Kanjani Youth HIV Prevention Strategy

This is an initiative aimed at integrating critical health, social services, and developmental programmes to empower young people.

SEDIBENG.- The Sedibeng District Municipality (SDM), in partnership with the Gauteng Department of Health and the Civil Society Forum Youth Sector, officially launched the Zikhala Kanjani Youth HIV Prevention Strategy.

The launch took place on Friday at the Vaal University Amphitheatre.

This is an initiative aimed at integrating critical health, social services, and developmental programmes to empower young people.

During the event, a formal pledge of commitment was signed by key stakeholders:

MEC Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko on behalf of the Gauteng Department of Health, Executive Mayor Lerato Maloka representing the SDM, and Annie Ramokgoase representing the Civil Society Forum Youth Sector.
