SEBOKENG.- Vaal Dojo Karate Club has done it again.

This Zone 11-based club came home celebrating with medals hanging around their necks.

This was after they conquered the Karate Tournament held in Pretoria over the weekend. It was a great individual performance that saw the team do exceptionally well in this tournament. They came home with their ‘tails up’, celebrating their victory.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, the club’s, Sensei Lerato Mohanoe, said that his team’s best performance and individual brilliance was the order of the day. He said they went to this tournament well prepared, and it came as no surprise when they brought home medals and trophies. Mohanoe said this is a remarkable achievement for his young team.

“I must say, I’m very proud of these talented youngsters; they made me and the entire Sedibeng community proud. I’m really lost for words considering that we were competing against well-organised clubs with resources. We came, saw, and conquered, as they say. This is something to celebrate,” said Mohanoe.
