Vaal All Stars Sports Club committed to nourishing talent

"We are looking for support in the form of match and training kits for both teams to show unity and confidence in the players."

SEDIBENG.- Vaal All Stars Sports Club is an ambitious club committed to youth development in Tshepiso, Sharpeville.

The club uses the Tshepiso Sports Complex for training and playing, and focuses on nourishing talented youngsters.

The club’s mission is to develop talent from an early age. This is to prevent or reduce risks such as teenage pregnancy and drug abuse. Not only that, but also to help youth with the exposure they deserve by participating in sports.

In an exclusive interview with Sedibeng Ster Sport, Themba Zwelibanzi, the club’s director, said they want to achieve a lot. He said the biggest obstacle to taking the club forward and achieving more in local sports is a lack of resources like training and playing equipment.

Zwelibanzi made a special plea to Vaal businesses and companies to assist the club with sponsorships.

“We are urgently in need of basic equipment to compete properly, especially for our U15 team.  We are looking for support in the form of match and training kits for both teams to show unity and confidence in the players. This includes cones, bibs, agility gear, and netball balls. Your sponsorship will give gifted kids the tools to grow and be scouted. We also want to build safe communities by keeping youth engaged in sport instead of crime. It is also important to note that we empower girls in sport to get opportunities on the field. Vaal All Stars Sports Club has talented kids who need the right support. Partner with us!”

Some of the club’s achievements:

Gold medalist, 2025.

Gold medalist, Women in Sports Games, 2026.

Silver medalist, Breast Cancer Awareness Games, 2025.
