SJF hosts jam session to close Women’s Month

Another Jazz Jam Session will be held on September 21 at Ha Dorah in Zone 17.

SEDIBENG. – The Sedibeng Jazz Foundation (SJF) held a successful Jazz Jam Session at Red Gate, Palm Springs, on August 31.

Welcoming the visitors was the Palm Springs Jazz club.

SJF’s Happy Nape said that they closed Women’s Month on a high note, whereby the presenters were ladies from different affiliated jazz clubs (Affiliates of SJF). SJF is a foundation in Sedibeng where jazz clubs get together to promote jazz, and to encourage all genders to be involved in jazz music, more especially women and youth.

“Jazz is not only for old men, it is for all of us, so we are encouraging men and women, including youth, to be involved. We are not leaving behind people with disabilities,” Nape said.

Another Jazz Jam Session will be held on September 21 at Ha Dorah in Zone 17.
