Kliprivier police launch ‘Rate Our Service’ campaign
Kliprivier SAPS has introduced a digital 'Rate Our Service' campaign that allows residents to rate police service delivery online.
KLIPRIVIER – The Kliprivier SAPS has launched a digital “Rate Our Service” campaign aimed at improving accountability and strengthening relations between the police and the community.
The initiative, led by Station Commander Lieutenant Colonel LJ Mofokeng, allows residents to rate the service received from police officials by scanning a QR Code and completing an online survey.
Mofokeng said the campaign forms part of a national SAPS programme focused on transparency and improved service delivery.
“Iphoyisa yiphoyisa ngomphakathi, meaning the police need the community, and the community needs the police. This initiative is about building trust and ensuring that our members uphold professionalism, dignity, and discipline at all times,” he said.
According to Mofokeng, feedback received through the survey will be used to identify areas that require improvement and to recognise officers who provide excellent service. He stressed that there is zero tolerance for ill-discipline and unprofessional behaviour.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Tintswalo Ndhambi says community members can participate from their homes, without having to visit the police station.
“Residents are encouraged to save the ‘Rate Our Service’ flyer on their mobile phones for easy access whenever they need to submit feedback. Your input will help us improve the quality of service we provide. We are committed to treating every person who walks through our doors with respect and professionalism,” Mofokeng added.
Community members can also access the platform via the MySAPS App or by visiting the SAPS website.
