All eyes will be on President Park Stadium

As things stand, Perfect Academy continues to look like champions-in-waiting, if their current performance is anything to go by.

VEREENIGING.- President Park Stadium is the place to be this Sunday as Remember Elite Sports Academy (RESA) prepares for a big battle against high-flying Metro Stars FC.

While the home side, RESA, is fighting for survival at the bottom of the table, the visitors are chasing the title. With kick-off set for 15:00, this SAFA Sedibeng Hollywood Men’s Regional League clash is set to be a defining moment for both ends of the standings.

The win for Metro Stars FC will close the gap at the top with Perfect Academy still at the summit on 33 points. They extended their lead after beating NWU Vaal FC on Saturday.

As things stand, Perfect Academy continues to look like champions-in-waiting, if their current performance is anything to go by.

Back to RESA and Metro Stars FC games, all eyes will be on this game for various reasons. For example, Ben 10 FC and Star Boys Academy, currently third and fourth on the log, both hope the results will be in their favour, RESA beating Metro Stars FC.

RESA is desperate for maximum points to distance itself from the relegation zone. They will be looking to make the most of their home-ground advantage to pull off an upset.

Meanwhile, in another fixture, league leaders Perfect Academy will host Moponisi United FC at George Thabe Stadium on Saturday. Kick-off is scheduled for 13:00.

With both teams boasting quality players, fans are expecting “fireworks” in what promises to be a very tough encounter.
