Sebokeng Extension 28 housing handover
The handover brought hope and dignity to families who have waited years.
SEBOKENG. – In line with what the ANC in Gauteng said is its manifesto commitment to expand access to adequate housing and building sustainable human settlements, Gauteng Department of Human Settlements MEC Tasneem Motara, joined by Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) Executive Mayor, Hassan Mako, handed over homes to deserving beneficiaries in Sebokeng Extension 28 last week.
The handover brought hope and dignity to families who have waited years.
The party sad that the handover brought hope and dignity to families who have waited years—some for decades—for an opportunity to own a home.

“Among the beneficiaries are senior citizens who registered as far back as 1996, as well as vulnerable households whose lives will be transformed through secure housing and improved living conditions. Every key handed over represents decisive action to restore dignity, improve quality of life, and advance the ANC’s vision of inclusive, sustainable communities where all residents have access to decent housing.”
