Stolen gas cylinders recovered

The stolen gas cylinders had been sold to a local tuck shop.

SEDIBENG. – Last week, Fidelity ADT Vaal, together with other security partners, received information regarding a vehicle linked to a business break-in during which two gas cylinders were stolen.

It is said that response teams immediately began searching for the vehicle and successfully located it at a Sasol fuel station in Meyerton.

The driver was positively identified and arrested on the scene.

Further investigations revealed that the stolen gas cylinders had been sold to a local tuck shop, which was closed at the time.

The cylinders were traced and successfully recovered the following day.
