Six illegal immigrants arrested for operating illegal ‘abbatoir’

The owner of the establishment was arrested for hiring illegal immigrants.

JOHANNESBURG.- Six illegal immigrants have been arrested after being found operating anillegal abattoir in Johannesburg.

Police said that at approximately 03:00, drone surveillance over Crown Mines, Johannesburg, detected suspicious activity at a property.

“Ground teams responded and confirmed the establishment was illegally operating as an abattoir. The Gauteng Provincial Stock Theft and Endangered Species Investigators as well as Criminal Record and Crime Scene Management processed the scene.”

 Six illegal immigrants have been arrested.
