Sedibeng Volleyball Association embarks on another successful roadshow!
“I can safely say, we are moving in the right direction, looking at the number of teams that have registered."
HEIDELBERG. – The Sedibeng Volleyball Association continued their roadshow when they visited Rathanda on Saturday.

This roadshow was part of the association’s effort to revive volleyball in the Emfuleni, Midvaal, and Lesedi municipalities.

These revival games took place at Khanya-Lesedi High School. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Joseph Manzi said this was the second successful roadshow they held in two weekends. Manzi said this weekend’s roadshow was a huge success, considering the number of teams that turned out.

He said the numbers were increased by the junior volleyball teams that have since registered with the Sedibeng Volleyball Association. He said that at their first roadshow, the numbers were not the same as at the second roadshow. He told Sedibeng Ster Sport he is impressed with the positive response they received from the Rathanda team and community.

“I can safely say, we are moving in the right direction, looking at the number of teams that have registered. I do not doubt that volleyball is growing quickly within our communities. It was overwhelming to see parents come in numbers to support their children. This is what we want to see happening at our games, every weekend. We will be concluding our roadshow in Midvaal this coming weekend. We are looking forward to having another successful roadshow and registering more teams,” said Manzi.
