SEDIBENG.- Vaal trio, Relebohile Mofokeng, Thapelo Maseko and Tshepang Moremi are part of Pitso Mosiman’s preliminary Squad.

The newly appointment Bafana Bafana coach announced his preliminary squad for the upcoming African Cup of Nation Qualifiers against Guinea on September 23. This will be the first official match Mosimane be in charge after he replaced Hugo Broos who had a great run in the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Mosimane returned 95% of Broos’s squad and added few new faces with Casius Mailula been the notable names in the team.

The Vaal tribble ‘M’ as Mofokeng, Maseko and Moremi expected to form the important part of Mosimane’s team taking into consideration their success with Bafana Bafana under Broos. These Vaal-born young stars have been part of Bafana Bafana for quite sometimes now and there is no doubt that they will make a final cut, unless otherwise.

The good news for Mosimane is that Maseko and Mofokeng they are in good form for their respectively European clubs.

Maseko scored his first goal for his Danish club FC Copenhagen, in his first start when they beat Odense Boldklub in the Superliga match on September 6.

On the other hand, Mofokeng who made his first start for his Belgian club, Royal Union Saints-Gilloise when they beat Sint-Truidense V.V in the Belgian Pro League on September 2 scored his second goal in the colours of the club.

Orlando Pirates fast-forward, Moremi is also the man that Mosimane will pin his hope on in this upcoming Bafana Bafana fixture.
