REENESH Pillay (19) who went missing from Umzinto has been found dead. Police spokesman Captain Vincent Pandarum confirmed today that on Monday, October 21 at around 2.30pm, a man was run over by a train between Dalbridge and Berea in Durban.
“The description of the clothing in the missing persons report differed from that which the deceased was wearing. It was only when the investigating officer saw a photograph of a tattoo that he realised that the deceased was indeed the person reported missing at the Umzinto SAPS. An inquest docket was registered by the Umbilo SAPS for investigation,” said Captain Pandarum.

REENESH Pillay (19) is missing. According to family members, Reenesh left Glenwood last Monday wearing blue jeans, a red shirt and black and blue Adidas takkies. He has a tattoo on his left hand. He has apparently been spotted in Port Shepstone. An urgent appeal is made for anyone who has seen Reenesh or who may know of his whereabouts to contact Sue at 073 6592232, Cliffy at 073 3163618 or the police at 10111.
