THE South Coast community is encouraged to pay its last respects to former president Nelson Mandela.
Those who wish to pass on condolences can do so at a memorial corner created at the Port Shepstone Civic Centre.
You can lay flowers, leave messages, or just visit the site to share your sadness and unite in grief for the nation’s hero.
There is also an official condolence book which can be signed.
The ANC’s Lower South Coast region will hold its memorial service at the Port Shepstone Civic Centre today (Thursday) at 10am.
Practical Ministries has also organised a time of prayer and reflection at Christ the King Catholic Church this Friday, December 13 from noon to 3pm.
Mr Mandela’s funeral will be screened at the TB Molefe Stadium in Gamalakhe on Sunday at 10am.
Finally, Mandela’s children’s play centre at Hope Park in Marburg will be launched this Sunday, December 15 at 3pm.
