EAST Coast Radio rocked Margate beach at the Maynards Funsunzi beach festival last week.
The sun was out and a host of deejays, including Damon Beard and the Drive Team, Makhosi Khoza and Jane Linley-Thomas, turned up the heat on the beach.
Damon and the Afternoon Drive team competed as The Green Jelly Beans team and made the biggest cannonball splash ever in the Ultimate Maynards Fan challenge.
Reshika Singh from Stanger was lucky enough to jump with Damon. The dynamite pair surprised beachgoers by making the biggest ‘Juiciest Kaboom’ splash.
There were fantastic prizes up for grabs and it certainly was a jam-packed, action-filled and fun-in-the-sun event for everyone.
