Sheppie High ‘tourists’ visit eco camp

On the way back they visited the Nelson Mandela Capture Site for a guided tour and a tasty lunch.

Port Shepstone High’s first rugby team fared impressively at the recent Felixton Rugby Festival. They also scooped the Spirit Trophy.

They beat John Ross College 50–0 and Eshowe High 41-21. Unfortunately they lost 3-8 to Kearsney College in a very wet, tough game. Jason Kobben was named ‘best forward’ and Duncan Vroom ‘best back’ for PSHS.

Netball girls played against Ridge Park College. The first team won 34-14, the U14A team won 23-1 and the U14B team won 12-1. At a recent golf match, Sheppie High beat Scottburgh High 4-0.

The gr 12 tourism class went on an excursion to Wagondrift Dam Eco Camp near Estcourt.

Despite having miserable weather they enjoyed activities like the eco-trail, team-building games and critical survival techniques.

On the way back they visited the Nelson Mandela Capture Site for a guided tour and a tasty lunch before returning home.
