
AN altercation over a punctured tyre lead to a man being stabbed to death.
The man and his brother were offered a lift home from Isonti, Umzinto by the driver of a bakkie.
En route to their home, the vehicle’s tyre suffered a puncture.

The man volunteered to assist with changing the tyre and while doing so, an argument broke out between him and another occupant of the bakkie.
“The other occupant of the vehicle allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in the chest,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis.
The victim’s brother witnessed the incident and tried to carry the wounded man to the clinic.
However according to police, the man died at the roadside.
One person has been arrested.
