Teen arrested on child porn charges
Police seized a cellphone with images and videos of young people exposing themselves.
A teenager was last week arrested by investigators from the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in KwaZulu-Natal for being in possession of child pornography.
“On February 14, police received information that the suspect was in possession of images and videos of young people exposing themselves. A search was conducted and a cellphone was seized,” said Capt Nqobile Gwala of the KZN SAPS media centre.

“A case of being in possession of child pornography was opened at Margate police station. The suspect was later arrested and charged,”
He appeared in Ramsgate Magistrate’s Court and was released into the custody of his parents.
