UPDATE: Police make arrest after body found in Sheppie

A 28-year-old man appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on a murder charge this week after a body was found near the mouth of the Mzimkhulu River.

The man, around 25 years of age, was discovered by a member of the public last Thursday at about noon.

Police and paramedics responded and he was certified dead at the scene.
