New councillor sworn in at RNM
Zodwa Mzindle replaces Nompumelelo Ciyi who died in June last year after an illness.
Zodwa Mzindle of the ANC was sworn in as proportional representation councillor at Ray Nkonyeni Municipality last week.
She replaces Nompumelelo Ciyi who died in June last year after an illness.

Cllr Mzindle was previously a trade union activist and will be part of full council activities.
She will also be a member of the Finance and Public Safety Portfolio Committees.
Fellow councillors, family and friends cheered as she took the oath to serve her community with diligence.
Council Speaker Doctor Njoko congratulated the new councillor saying, “We hope you will abide by the oath you have taken and that you are going to work for your community and not for yourself.”
