Rocking out for animals

The perfect weather on Saturday afternoon made Rocky Ridge a fantastic outdoor venue for families and friends to chill and enjoy the live music.

A whopping R18 000 was raised for the SPCA at the Rocking Against Cruelty gig which took place at Rocky Ridge last Saturday.

Six bands and two artists – DJ Garth, No Refund, BJ Pretorius, Braxton Hix, Chewing The Hornet and Hate Speech – took to the stage to raise funds for the local animal welfare society.
