Silver and gold for Southcoast Jukskei Club at SA Masters tournament

It was an unforgettable jukskei experience with friends and fellow players.

It was a memorable week for the Southcoast Jukskei Club at the recent SA Masters tournament, held at Jukskeipark in Kroonstad.

The local players were selected to be part of the KZN team, competing alongside experienced Masters players from across the country.

Their dedication and team spirit were rewarded as the KZN contingent returned home with multiple gold and silver medals.

The members who played were James Newman, Colin Kapp, Herman Pienaar, Wessel le Roux, Pieter van Reenen, Maggie Quinn, Ina Wride, Anne-Marie Kapp, Antoinette Pienaar, Gerda le Roux and Malinda Lategan.

For the local club, however, the tournament was about much more than results.

Players shared the excitement of competition, supported one another and celebrated the achievements of their teammates.

Away from the lanes, friendships were strengthened, and special memories were made.

Jukskei is not just a game. It is not just about medals and trophies – it is about friendship, caring, encouragement and people coming together as a family.

The SA Masters Tournament was once again proof of that special spirit.

The Southcoast members returned home with medals around their necks, but also with the pride of representing KZN.
