Please give this repair the green light

THE traffic light near the entrance to Scottburgh Mall was knocked down, reportedly by a truck, almost three weeks ago and has yet to be repaired.

The fallen light is a hazard, not only because motorists have to avoid the obstacle, but the broken glass could also lead to punctured tyres or injuries to pedestrians.

Authorities are urged to fix the problem before it causes a serious accident.
