Crime Stop is a national call centre which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

SCOTTBURGH Saps is encouraging you to call the Crime Stop number, 086-0010111, if:

• You have information about any crime or any suspicious criminal activity

• You have useful information that can help prevent a crime

• Can help the police in the investigation of a crime that has already taken place

• You are too afraid to report this to the police (you can report anonymously on Crime Stop).

Crime Stop is a national call centre which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

If you use the number, you will be given unique code that will allow you to call back and trace the progress of the case you reported.

“Alternatively, report complaints to your nearest police station and obtain an incident report number,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis.
