Join World TB Day campaign

Marchers will make their way via Gcilima Primary to the Gcilima Community Hall where a candlelight service will be held.

World Tuberculosis Day is marked annually on March 24.

This year, Ugu TB/HIV Organisation and its partners are inviting communities join them in their 2020 awareness campaign, titled ‘It’s time’.

The campaign will take place in Gcilima on Friday, March 20 and all are welcome to attend.

The event will kick off with a march to emphasise the need for TB awareness, setting off from the KwaXolo Steam Centre at 9am.

Marchers will make their way via Gcilima Primary to the Gcilima Community Hall where a candlelight service will be held.

Organisations are welcome to bring along placards and pamphlets relating to TB and HIV.
