Take note: Rules for attendance at funerals under level 2 lockdown
Only 50 people are allowed to attend and health protocols must be observed.
New regulations under lockdown alert level 2 are effective from today (August 18) as per the Disaster Management Act which has been extended until September 15.

If attending a funeral, take note of the following rules:
- Attendance at a funeral is limited to 50 persons and will not be regarded as a prohibited gathering.
- Night vigils are not allowed.
- During a funeral, a person must wear a face mask and adhere to all health protocols and social distancing measures.
