UPDATE: Ugu District records 4 760 confirmed Covid-19 cases

There have been 89 fatalities in the district.

As of today, Wednesday, September 9, KwaZulu-Natal has 115 081 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 9 288 are active with 177 new cases confirmed today.

Some 2 356 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 103 437.

The total number of people screened is 12 852 815 and the total tests conducted are 258 674.
