UPDATE: Over 100 Covid-19 deaths recorded in Ugu District

Confirmed cases of the virus in the district now stands at 4 794.

As of Monday, September 14, KwaZulu-Natal has 116 389 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 7 440 are active with 219 new cases confirmed today.

Some 2 409 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 106 540.

The total number of people screened is 13 278 376 and the total tests conducted are 264 364.
