UPDATE: 103 deaths, 4 835 confirmed Covid-19 cases in Ugu District

Some 4 048 people have recovered from the virus in the district.

As of Friday, September 18, KwaZulu-Natal has 117 147 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 6 892 are active with 236 new cases confirmed today.

Some 2 478 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 107 777.

The total number of people screened is 13 626 996 and the total tests conducted are 269 256.
