Cat sterilisation clinic in Marina Beach this weekend

In this way, feral cat colonies can be controlled.

Cats of Durban is an organisation which aims to control the cat population and prevent unwanted kittens through sterilisation.

The team regularly holds sterilisation clinics in various areas and will be at the municipal library in Marina Beach this Sunday, November 8.

Anyone interested in having a stray or adopted cat sterilised can contact 071-9328925 for details.

The fee is R400 per cat and the cats’ ear will be clipped to designate it as a stray.

The above number can also be called for assistance with trapping or transporting the cats.

“There are many stray and feral kittens which face a fragile future of abuse, starvation and disease, so we encourage cat owners to sterilise their pets while they can to prevent something like this from happening,” said founder of Cats of Durban, Niki Moore.
