Are you up for the 20 day ‘positive challenge’?

Amanda de Villiers encouraged everyone to try and eliminate bad, angry or negative thoughts and to transform these into positive ones.

Amanda de Villiers from Southport hosted her very first self-motivational and inspirational workshop on Friday last week.

Some 25 diverse women united at St Michael’s Manor for a lovely evening of cheese, wine and fruit juice.

Amanda spoke about creating a better version of yourself and how to develop your passion.

Her blunt ‘life-questions’ certainly gave food for thought about whether you were developing the best version of yourself.

“Are you in a comfort zone? What is the best version of yourself? Stop making excuses, take responsibility and go out there and be the change,” she said.

“We make mistakes daily… don’t be hard on yourself, as long as you keep taking stock and realising you are only human. Whatever you are struggling with – work through it,” she said.

Amanda challenged those in the room to take up a 20 day challenge to think positive thoughts.

She encouraged everyone to try and eliminate bad, angry or negative thoughts and to transform these into positive ones.

“Make a habit of thinking positively. You are honestly what you speak,” she said.

The room was treated to champagne and everyone toasted to positivity.
