Superbodies Margate and its supporters managed to raise some R15 000 with their Spin-a-thon Challenge last Saturday.

The winners were the six-man team comprising Zauco van den Berg, Roeloff Quinn, Bennie Kruger, Ishwar Manila, Brian Lindecke, Trish Shuttleworth and Ishwar Manilal.

The funds will go to the Pro Deo Care Group, a charity which renders home-based care for the frail and for cancer patients.

The bench press competition was won by a very chuffed Nkosingiphile ‘House’ Nyawose who walked away with a trophy and prize for setting the bar at 200 kilograms.
