A structural collapse in Margate on Monday this week left one person critically injured.
Craig Botha of Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service said that when emergency services arrived they found that an outside wall supporting a parking structure had collapsed trapping a person underneath.
“Paramedics found that the patient had sustained critical injuries.”

He added that together with fire rescue services the patient was freed.
The patient was then transported to hospital.
