Robbers arrested in Umzinto after high speed chase
They stole cellphones, chainsaws, drills, grinders and a bakkie before fleeing from the scene.
Two men were arrested in Umzinto last Sunday in connection with a robbery which occurred earlier in the Highflats area.
Reports from various sources indicate that the men assaulted, tied up and locked the robbery victim in a shed.

Various units, including Scottburgh Rapid Response Team, Scottburgh Precision Team, Umzinto detectives, Umzinto uniform members and Gladiator Security Service, received information about the suspects last being spotted in Braemar, driving at high speed towards Umzinto.
Authorities gave chase and several attempts were made to stop the vehicle.
It was finally cordoned off and the driver eventually stopped in Riverside Park, Umzinto.
The men have since been arrested and property recovered.
