Heavy rains shut down Scottburgh licensing office

The community will be informed once the office is operational again.

The Scottburgh Licensing Office is closed today (December 22) after heavy rains flooded the building and caused a disruption to its operating systems last night.

According to Umdoni Municipality, technicians are currently working on restoring all systems.

“We will inform the community once the office is ready to resume operations and we apologise for any inconvenience caused,” said Umdoni Municipality’s communications manager, Sphelele Cele.
